Newborn Photography with Family | St. Cloud

What a sweet newborn photography session! And it was even more fun because the whole family was able to join us. I did Mom’s maternity pictures a few weeks prior, so I was really looking forward to finally meeting the baby. Mom, Dad, big sister Viha and big brother Sahas were all able to join us, and we even had Grandma and Grandpa join us all the way from Maryland! Loved capturing this beautiful family during such a special time.

It was extra special that the grandparents were there, because baby Hriti’s name is a combination of theirs—Harish and Priti. What a great way to celebrate those family bonds.

Newborn photography can take some time—and it can feel pretty long for older siblings. As a newborn photographer, I want my families and their little ones to have a fun, comfortable, and relaxing experience when they’re with me. With this family, we ended up taking a break halfway through the session to share a meal from Pizza Depot (next door to my St. Cloud, MN photography studio). Pictures are so much more fun on a full belly!
