St. Cloud, MN Newborn Photographer | Bryce’s Newborn Session

This little cutie and his parents traveled from Holdingford for Bryce’s newborn session. It was a stormy day outside (complete with thunder and hail), but we’re glad they braved the weather. It’s always cozy in our St. Cloud, MN photo studio! (In fact, we recommend dressing in layers when you come! We keep it nice and toasty so that babies stay comfortable during outfit changes.)

We did a couple of different bucket setups for baby Bryce, as well as a couple of swaddles and a pillow that was just the right size for that little head. We also wanted some variety in our colors, so we chose to do some of our setups with neutrals and some with a nice combination of blue and rust.

Bryce was adorable and we’re so happy that, even though we’re about half an hour away, Mom and Dad chose Tiny Hearts Studio as their St. Cloud, MN newborn photographer!

St. Cloud, MN Newborn Photographer | Rylan’s Newborn Session

This little guy was born eight weeks early and had a lengthy NICU stay. Thankfully he’s doing just great! His parents had already booked Rylan’s newborn session, so they rushed over to our St. Cloud, MN photography studio as soon as he was discharged to capture these newborn pictures.

This kiddo is definitely not the first baby we’ve had who decided that schedules are for other people! That’s one of the many reasons we recommend booking your baby’s photo session early so that we have plenty of wiggle room if things don’t go according to plan.

We were joined for Rylan’s newborn session by mom, dad, and Rylan’s fur-sibling! It’s always fun to have pets in the studio, and well worth the extra challenge for a kiddo to have baby pictures with their childhood pet. This doggo was very well-behaved and we’re sure will be a fantastic buddy for little man!

St. Cloud, MN Newborn Photographer | Kane’s Newborn Session

Check out this sweet baby boy! Mom, Dad, and big brother all made the trip to the studio in St. Cloud for a newborn photo session with new baby Kane.

We got some super cute photos with everyone.

Big brother was awesome with the little guy, which gave us a bit more flexibility in posing. We do pics with toddler siblings all the time (which I love!) but it’s fun to have an older kiddo in the mix. With toddlers it’s mostly the challenge of keeping them still long enough for a shot! And since they’re still figuring out motor skills and don’t understand how delicate babies are, I always take precautions for safety reasons. Since older kiddos are more mature and coordinated (and better at following instructions!) it opens up a whole new world of possibilities for photography.

I love the earth tones we used for Kane’s newborn session. The golds, greens, blues, and grays put me in mind of autumn—which is perfect because we did this shoot right at that golden season when summer is just turning into fall.

Amelia’s Newborn Pictures | St. Cloud, MN Newborn Photographer

Check out this little nugget! You’d never know it, but we had to divide up Amelia’s newborn pictures over two different sessions. Poor baby girl wasn’t feeling super well for either one. We think she had a bit of a tummy ache. As a St. Cloud, MN newborn photographer, one of the many skills I’ve mastered is flexibility! You just never know what to expect from these little ones, and while I absolutely want you to have a ton of beautiful baby photos to choose from, I also want to listen to your little one and make sure they’re as comfortable and happy as possible. We can do both, but sometimes it requires some creativity!

You can see that by allowing our session to be baby-led and being flexible enough to do two shorter sessions, we got a gorgeous collection of newborn images! I loved capturing all the details of Amelia’s tiny fingers and perfect little mouth—tongue sticking out and all!

Mom and Dad were so excited to welcome this sweet cherub, and I love the precious newborn and parent pictures we took.
