St. Cloud, MN Senior Photographer | Taylor’s Senior Session

I had such a great time photographing this beautiful, fun, and talented high school senior! Before I say anything else, I know that after checking out these senior photos you’re going to want a session for your own awesome student—and we only have a few spots left! I have been so busy with maternity and babies that I decided to only take a total of 5 lucky seniors this year. Okay, now that business is out of the way, let’s get back to Taylor’s senior session. Aside from the essential “little black dress,” we kept most of her outfits casual. These pictures are about capturing personality, so I always want you to wear something you love and feel comfortable in!

Variety is the spice of life, so we did some of our photoshoot in the studio with a couple of different backdrops and props, and the rest we did outdoors. I like using a couple of different locations for senior pictures so we can capture the moods and places that are important to you.

And of course, I always encourage you to bring meaningful items from home or school—a ball for your favorite sport, a stack of books, whatever you’re into!

Congratulations, Taylor, on all you’ve accomplished so far and all the adventures ahead! You’re going to be amazing at whatever you choose to do!

St. Cloud, MN Senior Photographer | Keegan’s Senior Session

I couldn’t believe it when I saw Keegan for his senior session! I was the St. Cloud, MN senior photographer for his older brother when he graduated, so I’d already met Keegan…but he was eight, so, yeah, it had been a while. It was great to reconnect and see what an amazing young man he’s grown into.

We did part of Keegan’s senior photography session in the studio. We also visited his high school stomping grounds and his family’s cabin, which was super fun! He told me he loves spending time at the lake (I can totally see why) and is also a soccer star on the school’s traveling team, so we incorporated both of those interests into our pictures. He was a natural in front of the camera!

Graduation photos are all about highlighting the interests and personalities of these students as they get ready to take their first steps into the big world. They’ve worked hard to get to this point, and there are so many exciting changes ahead! For a lot of seniors, being the star of their own photoshoot is a huge confidence booster. It’s a way to show how far they’ve come and that they’re ready to take on the world!
